While we’re on the subject of booze around here.   I have to say that I am smitten with Finlandia’s Grapefruit Fusion flavored vodka.   Ever since being treated at my dear best friend W’s house…  I’ve been hooked on this stuff.    This afternoon (between the gunfire and the gathering at the pub), I made a kick-ass Madras using cranberry juice, orange juice, and Finlandia’s Grapefruit Fusion vodka.   I measured last night and it was good.   I didn’t measure today (but was more generous with the good stuff) and it was freaking spectacular!    Served over ice (actually shook it up in a cocktail shaker and then dumped it into a big water goblet)….   mmmmm.

I am not advocating alcoholism here or anything…  But I do fully intend to enjoy a more of these treats as long as this luscious warm weather holds out.  

Maybe I should get some of those cute little cocktail umbrellas.
