Unwound and Undone

I just spent the last 1.75 hours sitting here watching the last two episodes of “Lost” on ABC’s website.   I can’t help it-   I’m totally addicted to that show.  These last two weeks have really ramped things up though.  The suspense is almost unbearable.   Then…  I made it through to the end of the last episode.  The ‘Desmond/Penny’ thing brought me to tears.  I won’t say more than that, just in case any of you are fans and haven’t watched this last episode yet.   But I will say this….   Wow!  The writers just keep throwing surprise after surprise at us.  And it keeps getting better and better.

The weather has taken a turn for the worse.  It’s rainy outside and I’m getting chilled inside.   Then again, I could be getting sick.   That is, if I were to allow such a thing.   But I’m not.  And so….   it’s not going to happen.  Period.

I need to get a fire going, but don’t have any wood.  I hate to run to the store and buy a little bit (lasting an hour or so) for five dollars or more.  But I really , really, really want to try my new tea out tonight in front of a cozy fire.

I guess I’d better dry those tears and grab my favorite tea cup.  It’s going to be a long, cold night.

Breaking Through

Breaking Through

Both on my way to San Francisco AND on the way back home, I was treated to fantastic light shows in this one particular spot on California’s I-505.

The light morphed and danced for more than a half an hour.  I finally had to pull myself back into the car and merge back into the 70+ MPH traffic flow.

I shot over 150 images here on those two days.  No two are alike.

The Girl Behind the Lens

I am a road tripping camera junkie trying to break free of the 9-5 work-week.

I am also a single mother to a teenage daughter who is trying to break free of me.

.... somehow, I don't think either of us will escape unscathed.
