All in all, we covered 2400 miles in four and a half days.   We had little cash and little time.   As a result, my ability to explore on foot (and with camera) was seriously limited.  I’ll provide details of the journey in a later post. It’s nearly noon on Sunday as I write this.   I had such grand plans for this weekend- so many things I wanted to accomplish.   Yet, here I am- as yet unshowered today, racing around as I frantically try to catch up with the planned chores before Sami gets home.   How does this happen?

I’ve actually been awake since just after seven AM, having been paged for work.   Another page soon followed and I found myself driving into the office and faciliating a conference call with my client and a teammate who knew more about this particular issue than I do.  It’s been quiet a day already and it really has yet to begin!

In other news, the new TJ Maxx opens here in Corvallis today.   Traffic on Ninth Street is insane!  I’d planned on stopping by to do a bit of window shopping, but never mind.  I’ll wait until they recover from today.   Hopefully, my wallet will have recovered from recent expenditures by that time.  It’d be nice to boost up the spring wardrobe.

Back to the housework, I guess.

Some idiot in a black or navy Honda is in my parking space.    It’s clearly ASSIGNED parking!  WTF?
